

Services for Frances Grimm, 85, of Temple will be at 1 P.M. Wednesday August 31 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple. Frances died Friday August 26 after a lengthy illness at Scott and White Hospital. Frances Marie Bronstad was born in Clifton, Bosque County, Texas on October 11, 1925. She was baptized later that year at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Norse. Frances attended school at Turkey Creek, in the Norse area, and Clifton Schools before graduating from Cranfills Gap High School in 1943. Frances was married to Furman A. Grimm in 1948, and this union lasted for 59 years until his death in 2008. Fran was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed committing her time to church outreach activities. She was an avid member of the Newcomers Club, a Thursday Club, in Temple. She is survived by sisters Erna of Temple and Jean of El Paso. She is also survived by her son Mike and his wife Vicki of Horseshoe Bay, and grandchildren Tyler of Midland and Kristin of Dallas. She was preceded in death by a son Steven in 1995, brother Odin and sisters Joyce and Virgie.
