Frances K. Cash

Frances K. Cash, age 89, formerly of Temple died Sunday, October 4, 2009 in Henderson, Nevada. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, at Bellwood Memorial Park with Rev. Roy Parker officiating. A memorial service was held on Sunday in Henderson. Mrs. Cash was born on January 24, 1920 in Quitman, Texas to Sam T. and Lettie (Collins) Kendrick. She received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University in Waco and a master's degree from East Texas State College in Commerce. She married Charley L. Cash on August 3, 1940 in Red Oak. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son, Charles K. Cash and one brother. She was a school teacher and counselor for over 30 years having taught in Temple ISD. She retired in 1980. She was a longtime member of Memorial Baptist Church in Temple. Survivors include her daughter, Lou DeLucia and husband, Gil of Ballston Spa, New York, two grandchildren, Carrie M. Nikogosian and husband, Armen and Gil L. DeLucia both of Henderson and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jonah and Gianna.
