Frank Ledesma, Sr.

Frank Ledesma, Sr., age 73 of Eddy, formerly of Temple, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at a local care center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with Rev. Joseph Nisari as celebrant. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5-6:30 pm Tuesday, January 8, 2019 with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.

Mr. Ledesma was born on July 22, 1945 in Moody, Texas to the late Raymond Ledesma and Gavina Yanez Ledesma. He attended schools in Oglesby and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple. Frank worked at WilsonArt over 20 years and later worked for the Temple Housing Authority. Mr. Ledesma was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Billy Ledesma.

Survivors include his sons, Frank Ledesma, Jr., Alex Ledesma, and Richard Ledesma; siblings, Teresa Rogers, Katie Ledesma, Sophia Ledesma, Alice Ledesma and Johnny Ledesma; grandchildren, Denise Espino and husband Luis, Jennifer Ledesma, Kristin Ledesma, Kristopher James Rodriguez, Hannah Ledesma, Ashley Sosa and Sienna Ledesma; eight great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
