

Fredia graduated from Temple High School in 1952, where she enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball. She worked various jobs until the love of her life, Calvin Weaver, returned home from the Navy. The two were married on March 29, 1956, in Temple, Texas, and shared a devoted marriage built on faith, family, and hard work.
She was a faithful member of Seventh Street Methodist Church until its closing in 1996. Fredia had a passion for helping Calvin on the family farm and took great pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and baking, and she lovingly shared her homemade treats with every grandchild and great-grandchild. Known affectionately as "MeMaw," she created countless memories that will be treasured for generations.
Fredia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Calvin Weaver; her son, Russell Weaver; her parents, Carl and Naomi Anderson; her brothers, Vernon Rose and Bill Anderson; and her sisters, Ruby Anderson and Verlyn Correne Anderson Clark.
She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Robinson and husband Matt Robinson, and Renee Langston and fiancé Glenn McClanahan; her grandchildren, Megan Watson and fiancé David Coleman, Savannah Dorff and husband Anthony Dorff, Charles Langston and wife Courtney Miller, Bekah Johnson and husband Chris Johnson, and Roland and Shelby Weaver; and her great-grandchildren, Riley Watson, Ryder Watson, Connor Johnson, Hunter Carlton, and Calvin Langston.
A funeral service will be held at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, 3110 Airport Road, Temple, Texas, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will immediately follow at Bellwood Memorial Park, 8575 Airport Road, Temple, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
