George retired after many years of dedicated service with AT&T and McLane. In retirement, he embraced life at a relaxed pace, finding great enjoyment on the golf course and spending time playing his guitar—two passions that brought him peace and happiness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Moore; his daughter, Angela Johns, and her husband, Sean; his son, Gregory Moore; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
George will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to his family, and the simple joys he cherished. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service at this time.
