Gladys Marie Schiller

Graveside services for Gladys Marie Schiller, 87, of Temple will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Ocker Brethren Cemetery with Rev. Larry Zabcik officiating. Mrs. Schiller died Wednesday in a Belton Nursing Home. Mrs. Schiller was born in Moody to Clifford Johnson and Ludie LaGrone Johnson. She attended school in Moody, Vincent and Lott. She graduated from Lott High School as Valedictorian in 1946. She attended Southwest State Teachers College, Temple Junior College and graduated from Baylor University. She taught school at Red Ranger, North Elm, Barclay and Southwest Elementary in Belton for twenty nine years. She retired in 1989. She lived in Moody, Lott and Barclay before moving to Temple. She married Lee Roy Schiller November 28, 1952. He preceded her in death February 20, 2011. She was a member of Temple Brethren Church where she was involved with the Christian Sisters. Survivors include two daughters Frances Jeanette Eaton of Belton and Marsha Schiller-Lunde of Belton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.Memorials in Gladys' name to Temple Brethren Church or to Gentiva Hospice would be appreciated.
