Gloria Jean Beck

Gloria Jean Beck, "Nana", 64, of Belton, was gently placed in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 while she was surrounded by family at her home. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 15 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Her celebration of life services will be held on Friday, January 16 at 10:00am. Both services will be held at Scanio Harper Funeral Home in Temple and officiated by Rev. Joe Emerson. Gloria was born in Lamesa, Texas to Harold "Gene" Beck and Dorothy McAnally Beck on December 4, 1950. In 1961, she was baptized at the First United Pentecostal Church in Lamesa, Texas. She was blessed with two daughters, Tammy Knight Pechal of Seaton, Samantha Morrison Davis of Belton, and one son, Shawn Anderson of Temple. Gloria worked majority of her life at Wal-Mart in El Campo and transferred to Belton in 1999. She enjoyed being part of the Wal-Mart management team. She served 25 years with them. Preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Doyle Beck. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Pechal husband David; Shawn Anderson wife Dianne; Samantha Davis husband Kim and her parents, Gene and Dorothy. Eight grandchildren Amber Pechal Ryan husband Ty of Temple, Shawn Anderson II fiancé Audrey Bellows of Temple, Stephanie Moreno Sinclair husband Marshall of Temple, Shawnda Anderson of Temple, Tevin Morrison of Belton, Jerry Pechal of Seaton, Kimora Davis of Belton and Kingston Davis of Belton. Five great-grandchildren Bryant Sinclair, Ethan Sinclair, Cullen Sinclair, Sage Anderson and Aiden Morrison. Brothers Larry Beck fiancé Amy Ford of Belton, Jack Beck wife Elke of Temple, Keith Beck wife Susan of Temple, Joe Beck of Temple. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Gloria.
