GORDON H. CASE Gordon H. Case, 82, of Temple died Monday June 19, 2006 in a Temple Care Center. Services for Mr. Case will be at 11:00 AM Thursday June 22, 2006 at the Northside Church of Christ in Temple with minister Darrell Knight and minister Dick Goodwin officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Bellwood Memorial Park. Mr. Case was born in New Home, Texas the son of John Lewis and Elsie Gray Case he was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II having served in Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, the Ardennes as well as the Rhineland. Mr. Case had worked with Texas Retail Grocers, McLane Co. and the R.L. French Co. of Dallas. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ and had been an elder for many years. He was one of the organizers of the Love of Christ Ministry in Temple. In October 29, 2000 the City of Temple Proclaimed Gordon Case Day for his work in the Community. In 1997 the Temple Board of Realtors recognized him for his work in the "Friends Feeding Friends". Mr. Case is survived by his wife Dolores Case of Temple One son Dan Case of Little River/Academy and one daughter Debbie Case Wharton of Temple and by four grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to the Northside Church of Christ Memorial Fund 3401 North 3rd Street Temple, Texas. A family visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple.
