

Jane Bush, age 76 of Moody, died Sunday, July 19, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Jane was born August 11, 1938 in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma, the fifth child to John and May Husted Lee. Jane was a member of the Elm Flat Christian Church and graduated from Cleo Springs High School. After high school, Jane moved to Oklahoma City where she was baptized. She attended Droughns Business College in 1957 and was later married and had two children, Jerry and Debbie. In 1970, she met and married Barney Bush and a daughter, Tonya, was added to her family. Jane and Barney moved to Texas where they bought a ranch and raised cattle and horses. They recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Jane worked at Walmart, HEB, and retired from Albertsons. Jane and Barney were members of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Whitehall, Texas. She loved her two dogs, Gracie and Kimba. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John and May Lee; her sister, Rosa Lee Johnson, Edna Lee Ryle and Opal Lee Schroeder; her brother, Alvin Lee; nephews, J.D. Ryle and Dale Lynn Johnson; brother-in-law, George Bush; and son-in-law, Jimmy Wood. Survivors in her broken hearted family include her husband, Barney Bush of Moody, Texas; children, Jerry Lee Darrow and wife Kimberly of Cleveland, Oklahoma; daughters, Debbie Kather-Wood of Temple, Texas and Tonya Lynn Bush of Killeen, Texas; sisters-in-law, Elouise Bush, Mavis Belisle and Wanda Bush; nieces and nephews, Joan Keene, Dean Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Reba Lee Hiebert, Marie Lee Dillard, Joe Ryle, Jack Ryle, Ron Ryle, Neva Sue Ryle, Jimmy Schroeder, Patricia Germany, Trenen Bush, Wanda Bush, Janet Bush, Sean Belisle and Walter Belisle. Jane leaves a rich legacy in her grandchildren, Jerry E. Darrow, Jimmy Darrow, Amanda Jane Santos-Robinson, Alexis Santos, Bradley Sanders, Casey Darrow-Gaches and Destiny Michelle Darrow; great grandchildren, Tripp Gaches, Asher Robinson, Hagin Sanders, Raegin Sanders and Paisley Sanders. The family is blessed and strengthened by the outpouring of love, support and sympathies extended to us. Visitation with the family will be at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 6-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be at Hopewell Baptist Church in White Hall on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery.
