Heather Renee Swanzy

Heather Renee Swanzy, 35, of Holland died Friday May 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Winsman officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Heather was born March 31, 1978 in Temple, Texas. She was a graduate of Temple High School in 1995 and attended Temple College. She was the coordinator for the Scott & White Mobile Blood Unit. Survivors include her mother, Linda Swanzy of Temple; her father and step mother Chris and Nancy Swanzy of Temple; Grandmother, Wynonia Benner of Temple; fiancé, Chris Battreall of Holland; two daughters, Haylē Jane Swanzy and Hope Renee Swanzy both of Holland; Step-son, Christopher Battreall of Holland; one sister, Dawn Michelle Todd of Temple; brother, Jeremy Todd Swanzy of Temple; step-brother, Kenneth Bynum III of Temple, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bynum III, Jeremy Swanzy, Winston Hayes, Matthew Buckley, Robert Hollowell, Joseph Buckley, Edward Fernandez, and Duane Lawrence. Memorials may be made in Heather's name to the Scott & White Mobile Blood Unit, 2401 South 31st Street, Temple, Texas
