Funeral services for Herman Lee "H.L." McQueen, 71, of Rogers will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery. Mr. McQueen died Thursday in a Temple Hospital. Mr. McQueen was born in Rogers to Joe B. McQueen and Jeffie Irene Young McQueen. He attended Rogers Schools and had lived in Milano before returning to Rogers in 1976. He worked for Mobil Chemical and was a member of Cen Tex Sportsman Club and East Bell Youth Boosters and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rogers. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed water skiing and visiting with family and friends. Survivors include two sons Frank McQueen and Joe McQueen both of Milano; three daughters Jenny McQueen of Rogers, Linda Hanusch of Belton and Brenda Ledbetter of Rogers; three sisters Gloria Ragan of Calvert, Annetta Pemberton and Sue Tomascik both of Rogers; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rogers.
