My thoughts and prayers go out to The Genes' family. I knew and worked with Gene for several years at WilsonArt. He was always a level headed guy. I'm sure he will be missed dearly.
May the Lord Bless the family and may Gene live in the presents of the Lord.

My heart is so heavy with the news of Gene’s passing. He called me the day before he was released from the hospital. I tried to call him a couple of days later with no answer. I did not know he would be gone in a few days. I will cherish the memories of working together.

Susan, please call me at any time. If there is anything that I can do, I would be honored. My number is 254-295-6459.

Love and prayers,
Susan Johnson

Gene was my supervisor at A&D that was his title, but for me He was more than that He was a friend who was always there for anyone who needed his help, Heaven has defently received another angel RIP Gene and RIDE The Streets of gold.

I am sad,,, lots of us are sad. We Academy grads of ‘68 shared YEARS of friendships with Gene. One of my best memories is our class reunion at David’s when Gene roared up the road on his Harley! And took me for a ride- what fun! I always thought of Gene as a “quiet-nature” kind of guy, but after that ... not any more! I will miss Gene, his Facebook posts, his obvious love of family, of dogs, of cars too! I visualize him now riding the clouds of heaven!
Praying you can feel the love of his classmates and the comfort and peace that only our Lord can give each of you.

Gene, you will be missed so much by your family and your friends and classmates from the class of 1968. You were my “partner in crime” when we worked on the class parties and reunions. I will miss my ride in the “orange pumpkin”. I’m sorry you are no longer here but glad you are in no pain. Fly high, my friend!

Gene was my best friend. He was my best man and I was his. I have a lot of stories of the fun we always had. I will really miss his wit.
