Ira "Louise" Wall

Ira “Louise” Howard Wall, age 96, of Temple went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2016.  Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 10th at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Holtzclaw officiating.  Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wall was born on September 25, 1919 in Flat to William Arthur and Fannie Addelle Hardin Howard.  She graduated from high school in Flat.  She married R. T. “Buck” Wall on October 8, 1938.  He preceded her in death on April 30, 2008. She lovingly supported her husband through many years of operating the family business, Farm Equipment Service in Temple as well as their cattle ranch in Hill County.  Also, as one beloved niece said, “Aunt Lee” served as the “Rock” of the family, including many extended members beyond those listed below. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Steve Wall of Troy and Don Clayton Wall of Temple, four brothers, Arthur Raymond Howard, Alvin Stanley Howard, John Clayton Howard and Floyd Everett Howard and three sisters, Vera June Lawson, Lois Ruth Wolff and Ethel Imogene Harper.  Survivors include two sons, Marvin Dale Wall and wife, Evelyn of Holland and Ronald Timothy Wall and wife, Terry of Tyler, daughter-in-law, Linda Wall of Troy, eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Tommy Dale Wall, Thomas Michael Wall, Ronald Timothy Wall, III and Glen W. Ivey. Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1102 S. 35th St., Temple,TX 76504.
