J.W. WADE Mr. J.W. Wade, 80 of Temple died Friday September 12, 2008 in a Temple hospital. Services for Mr. Wade will be at 11:00 AM Monday September 15, 2008 at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. John Witte, Rev Jimmy Hinton and Rev. Robert Mattson officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 3 until 4 PM Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Mr. Wade was born in Vernon, Texas the son of John M. and Ruth Bowman Wade. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II. He married Mildred Northen November 26, 1949 in Troy, Texas. He retired in 1985 as the Director of Finance with the City of Farmers Branch after 22 years of service. He was an active member of Memorial Baptist Church serving as a Deacon and a member of the Encouragers Sunday School Class. Mr. Wade is survived by wife of 58 years Mildred Wade of Temple son Glen Wade of Coppell and a daughter Marilyn Wade of Los Angeles, Ca. and three grandchildren Alan Wade, Samantha Wade and Matthew Wade Arrow. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Frances Wade LeFan.
