Jim was a 1964 graduate of Temple High School, earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1968, served in the Texas National guard and was owner/operator of Jim Madeley Insurance in Temple.
He is survived by wife Corene Green Madeley of Temple, sons Brian Madeley of Denver, CO and Darren Madeley of Temple, TX, a sister Martha Rhea Cervenka of Austin, TX and a brother Hank Madeley of Austin, TX.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Julia Madeley.
