Jane Dunson Hollingsworth

Jane Dunson Hollingsworth, age 93, of Temple formerly of Waco died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 12 at Oak Park United Methodist Church in Temple with Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 PM at Waco Memorial Park in Waco. Mrs. Hollingsworth was born on August 16, 1917 in Coryell County to William Henry and Annie (McGaughy) Dunson. She married Delbert C. Hollingsworth. He preceded her in death in 1998. They were longtime residents of Waco where she worked as a unit secretary at Providence Hospital. She was member of Oak Park United Methodist Church. Survivors include her sister, Veda Phillips of Temple, two daughters, Billie Joy Pederson and husband, Loyd of Copperas Cove, Deborah Hollingsworth of McGregor and one son, Dr. Gary Hollingsworth of Houston and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Oak Park United Methodist Church.
