Graveside services for Janie Butler Lawler, 61, of Heidenheimer were held at Lawler Cemetery near Florence on Tuesday. Mrs. Lawler died Monday March 2, 2014 in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Lawler was born in Long Beach, California to Franklin Hall Butler and Audrey Chaffin Butler. She married Gale Lawler Aug. 26, 1978. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Baylor University. She was a homemaker and taught piano lessons. She moved to Heidenheimer in 2005 and was a member of Taylors Valley Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a Chaplain for American Heritage Girls. Survivors include her husband Gale Lawler of Heidenheimer; two daughters Stacey Ernstberger of Georgia and Carrie Fay Amaro of Oregon; one brother James H. Butler of Colorado; four grandchildren Lucas Hall Ernstberger, Andrew Lee Ernstberger, Daniel Abram Amaro and Violet Mariam Amaro. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
