Jimmy Dean Guthrie, 74 of Belton died Monday May 25, 2009 at his home in Belton. Military Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 3, 2009 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Rev. Darlene Grant officiating. Mr. Guthrie was born August 15, 1934 in Belton, Texas to Franklin Dean and Lou Ada Smith Guthrie. He attended Belton Schools and was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Survivors include one daughter; three sons; one sister; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and friend, Christine Shafer of Temple.
