Jimmy Garza, 60, of San Antonio formerly of Temple died Wednesday August 22, 2012 in San Antonio. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald James officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Garza was born September 1, 1951 in Temple to Sasano and Sarah Garcia Garza. He attended Temple Schools and was a member of San Antonio First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his wife Diana Soto Garza of San Antonio;one daughter, Valerie Gandara of Troy; two sons, Patrick Williams and Michael Williams both of Temple; one sister, Frances Rodriguez of Temple; three brothers, Sam Garza, Arthur Garza, and Robert Garza all of Temple; Eleven grandchildren.
