John Marvin Hiles, age 56, of Temple formerly of Wichita, KS passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born on August 26, 1959 in Fort Riley, KS the son of Maurice Laverne and Violet Pearl Hiles. After his schooling he served his country in the United States Army. John and his wife Debra lived in Wichita prior to relocating to Temple. While in Wichita he worked as a sheet metal worker for Boeing Airlines. John was a member of Temple Bible Church where he was the leader of Celebrate Recovery. He is survived by his wife Debra of Temple, daughters; Janice (Larry) Harris of San Antonio, Jewel (Adam) Vanhorn of Gatesville, and Charity Hiles of Temple, grandchildren Rylan, Jessica, and Josiah, and a brother Jim (Linda) Hiles of Temple. John was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Cheryl Ann Cooper, and brothers Ron Ivan Hatch and Bobby Hatch. In lieu of flowers memorials to Celebrate Recovery at Temple Bible Church 3205 Oakwood Dr. Temple, TX 76502. Services are currently pending.
