John “Jake” Feeback, Jr., age 65 of Temple, died Friday, January 15, 2021 at a Harker Heights hospital. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00pm Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
John Jacob Feeback was born on November 13, 1955 in West Monroe, Louisiana to the late John Jacob Feeback, Sr. and Connie Columbus Feeback. Jake was an avid LSU fan. He married Daphne Vandever in 2013. Jake loved traveling, family, friends and telling stories. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Ginger “Ginny” Bowling.
Survivors include his wife Daphne Vandever Feeback of Temple; a son, Brian Feeback and wife Heather of Haughton, Louisiana; a daughter, Laura Feeback Gasca and husband Carlos of West Monroe, Louisiana; a brother, Frank Feeback of West Monroe, Louisiana; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a nephew, Jeff Ferracci of Monroe, Louisiana; a niece, Jessica Ferracci Hughes; and his mother-in-law, Billie “Teeny” Vandever of Hewitt, Texas and other extended family members.
Memorials may be given in Jake’s name to the Temple Animal Shelter, 620 Mama Dog Circle, Temple, Texas 76504.
