J.W. Hutchinson

Funeral services for J.W. (Hutch) Hutchinson, 87, of Little River Academy will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Little River with Rev. Ron Bellomy and Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Valley Cemetery. Mr. Hutchinson died Tuesday November 28, 2006 in a Temple Living Center. Mr. Hutchinson was born in Bell County to R.M. Hutchinson and Erna Blaylock Hutchinson. He lived in Little River all of his life. He served in the Navy during World War II and retired from the National Guard. He married Aline Dean July 6, 1943. He was an engineer for the Texas Highway Department having worked in Belton, Austin and Georgetown. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Little River, Little River Academy Lions Club, was a member of the Masonic Lodge and served on the City Council of Little River Academy. He was preceded in death by his wife Aline Hutchinson April 8, 2006 and by one grandchild. Survivors include his daughter Phyllis Simpson of Little River Academy and one granddaughter Dr. Tiffani Simpson of Houston. The family will receive visitors from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Wilson Valley Cemetery Association or to First United Methodist Church of Little River.
