Kay Jones

Memorial services for Kay Jones, 49, of Temple will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday July 26, 2007 at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Thrasher officiating. Mrs. Jones died Saturday July 21, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born in Fort Worth to Scottie W. McClendon and Patsy Hilburn McClendon. She moved from Irving to Temple about twenty five years ago. She married Fred Jones March 15, 1986. She graduated from LVN School at Temple College and worked for the V.A. Hospital, Southland Villa Nursing Home, Regency Manor Nursing Home and was presently employed at Weston Inn. Survivors include her husband Fred Jones of Temple; two sons Scott White and his wife Peggy and Josh White and his wife Tina both of Temple; one daughter Sheila Gordon of Temple; parents Mike and Patsy Dayton of Temple; brothers Ray McClendon and his wife Tammy and Duane McClendon and his wife Debbie both of Belton and seven grandchildren Emily Mohrmann, Matthew White, Autumn White, Austin White, Griffin Moncrief, Quinlan Moncrief and Gavin Moncrief all of Temple.
