

Kimberly K. Lischer went to the arms of her Lord Tuesday February 18, 2014 at the age of 49. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. She loved the ocean and beaches, favorite games corn hole and horse shoes. Kim always had a big hug for anyone she met whether they needed one or not. Kim always had a smile on her face, with a heart of gold. She loved her family and always stayed in touch. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She worked as a journeyman plumber and painter. She was employed by the Burns family with Rescom in Gonzales, LA the last two years. She was loved by them and was considered as one of their family. Survivors include her father Norris Lischer and wife Karen of Temple; mother, Carol Luley and husband Peter of Temple; brother, Keith Lischer and wife Rachel of Belton; grandparents, Robert A. and Marjorie Lischer of New Athens, Ill.; nephews Mark Jr., Khristopher, Zerik, Caleb, Cadyn, and Grayson; nieces, Emily, Julia, Olivia, Allison, Kadyn, Ashten, Paige, Chloe and Stevie; beloved aunts and uncles and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Yvonne Baylor, Margaret Ettling and her brother Mark A. Lischer.
