

Lamont served honorably in the United States Army. When Lamont left the military, he obtained his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with Tarleton State University. He frequently pointed out that the Army taught him the value of discipline, teamwork, and investing in a cause larger than himself. He would always say that he was fortunate to be able to work with at risk teenagers and individuals with special needs.
Lamont is preceded in death by his father, Nathan Rimmer, and survived by his wife, Fernanda Rimmer, and stepson, Alessandro Bio, his beloved mother, Mamie Rimmer, brothers and sisters, Jerome & Emiko McInnis, Delaine & Lavonda Rimmer, Leonard Rimmer, Nathan Duran & Latisha Rimmer, Yolanda McBride, Lasandra Gail Rimmer and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Scanio-Harper Funeral Home will host Lamont’s services at 10:00 am this Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 3110 Airport Rd., Temple TX 76504.
