Larry Leon Cooper, Sr., 65, of Moody died Sunday in a Temple Hospital. Private family services will be held at a later date. Mr. Cooper was born August 21, 1947 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi to Witt Leon and Dorothy Bramlett Cooper. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Vietnam. He worked for the City of Waco as an equipment operator. Survivors include one son, Larry Cooper, Jr. and wife Lisa of Moody; four daughters, Betty Cooper of Moody, Kimberly Mahood and husband David of Troy, Johnnie Salas and husband John Paul of Troy, and Edna Cooper of Moody; two sisters, Barbara Rowe and husband Johnny of Pearl, Mississippi and Joan Biggs and husband Charles of Memphis, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Whitley Salas and Anna Salas both of Moody; nine grandsons, A. J. Salas, Nicholas Salas, John Salas, Aaron Drinovsky, Joshua Rios, Mario Cooper all of Moody, Allen Mahood, David Mahood, and Robert Mahood all of Troy.
