Memorial services for Larry Spacek, 65, of Rogers will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday Jan. 26, 2016 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Mr. Spacek died Thursday at his residence. Mr. Spacek was born in Lampasas Nov. 6, 1950 to Anton Spacek and Mary Thornell Spacek. He graduated from Northside High School in 1969 and received an Associate Degree from Temple College in Fire Technology. He served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam. He married Debra Spacek July 4, 1998. She preceded him in death in 2015. He was a fireman for the City of Temple having attained the rank of Captain. He lived in Rogers for 50 years and was a member of VFW Post 1820, the Marine Corps League and was a Mason. He was a member of the Assembly of God. Survivors include one daughter Carrie Spacek of Rogers; step brother Gary Beaty of Fort Worth; sister Janice Jeske Barefoot of Temple and one granddaughter Hope Spacek.
