
Funeral services for Lillie J. Skrabanek, 87, of Temple will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday June 24, 2008 at Seaton Brethren Church. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery. Mrs. Skrabanek died Friday in a Temple Living Center. Mrs. Skrabanek was born in Rosebud to Tom and Anna Vitek. She moved to Bell County in 1954 and to Temple in 1976. She married Ed Skrabanek January 15, 1942. He preceded her in death January 29, 2000. She was a homemaker and had worked at Baugh Shoe Factory. She was a member of Seaton Brethren Church, where she was a member of Seaton Christian Sisters and served as custodian. She was also a member of SPJST #47, Seaton Senior Citizens and the Mutual Aid Society of the Unity of Brethren. Survivors include two sons Edward (Ed) Skrabanek and his wife Nancy and James Skrabanek and his wife Joyce both of Temple; two daughters Dorothy Mikeska and her husband Leonard and Ruth Psencik and her husband Glenn both of Temple; six grandchildren Mark Mikeska and his wife Cheryl; Denise Mikeska and her husband Charles, Scott Skrabanek and his wife Teresa, Gary Skrabanek and his wife Windee, Erin Vincent and her husband Chuck, and Tim Psencik and his wife Rhonda; five great grandchildren Ray Mikeska, Kristen Mikeska, Joshua Mikeska, Elizabeth Skrabanek and Mary Kate Skrabanek; three stepgranddaughters Stacey Kabler and her husband Steve, Rhonda Hertzog and her husband Bill and Rebecca Kasner and her husband Eric and two step great granddaughters Stephanie Kabler and Hannah Kasner.
