Louis Richardson

Louis Richardson, 92, of Belton, died Friday, January 12, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2007 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Heimsoth officiating. Private family burial will be at Bellwood Memorial Park. He was born September 13, 1914 in Temple to James Harvey and Goldie McDonald Richardson. He attended schools in East Bell County and was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. He married Frances Bartek. She died August 25, 2006. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Smylie of Belton; one sister, Mary Smith of Little River; two brothers, Buford Richardson of Ft. Worth and Marvin Richardson of Amarillo. He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, Bob Smylie, and his many dear friends from Bell County. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Hulon, Eli, and Preston Richardson.
