Lucile Ferguson Beck, age 92 of Temple, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rodney Tedford officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 PM Monday, August 25, 2014 at the funeral home. Mrs. Beck was born on January 21, 1922 in Killeen, Texas to the late O.S. Cox and Mealy Stauffer Cox. She graduated from Belton High School. She married Gerald Ferguson in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1990. She married Walter Beck in 1994. Lucile worked at Temple National Bank, InterFirst, which is now Bank of America. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary #133 and Avenue T. Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Walter Beck of Temple; sons, Gerald J. Ferguson of Mabank and Kenneth J. Ferguson of Littleton, Colorado; a sister, Nelda F. Bailey of Temple; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
