Lucille Massingill, 86, of Temple, died Friday, December 29, 2006 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Bellwood Memorial Park. She was born December 10, 1920 in Palo Pinto County, Texas to James Monroe and Ada Bell Nicks. She married Lee Roy Massingill December 10, 1942. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Mrs. Massingill was a retired specialist in making and designing clothing. She had been a resident of Snyder, Texas for twenty-eight years before moving to Temple three years ago. She had been a member of 37th Street Church of Christ in Snyder. Survivors include her husband, Lee Massingill of Temple; two daughters, Joy Stack of Fredericksburg and Kay Epperson of Temple; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
