

The oldest of four girls, Margaret was followed by her sisters: Hazel Rattray, Rarane Langley & Maureen Hemming.
As a child growing up in Jamaica, Margaret enjoyed dancing, & watching soccer games. She loved to indulge her senses with great food & wore the latest fashions of the time. She attended Tutorial High School and transferred to Dunrobin High School until her graduation.
She left Jamaica at 21 years old to study nursing in England. There she excelled in the nursing school at Joyce Green Hospital, in Dartford, Kent. Upon becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she decided to make England her new home. Margaret married her childhood sweetheart, Herbert L. Morris in 1966, and they welcomed a baby girl in January of 1967, Maxine R. Morris.
In 1974 Margaret acquired a job in Montreal, Canada and made her way across the pond. Wanting to help more people, she went back to school in the early 1990s. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse (RN). For the next 30 years, Margaret worked tirelessly in her profession to care for her patients, in many locations, such as Toronto; Ft. Lauderdale & Miami, FL; and Warner Robins, Ga. Outside work, she enjoyed going to church, watching CNN, and spending time with family.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Hebert; daughter Maxine; grandsons Desai Morris and Jerrell Morris-Nolan. She has 5 great-grandchildren, Makaylah Lipscomb, Jaelin Morris, Tristen Bailey, Ayden Bailey & Jaxson Bailey. She is also survived by her sisters, Hazel, Rarane and Maureen; her nephew, Joshua; her nieces, Chelsea, Zeromeh and Tamika; and her grandnephew, Gabriel and other family members.
