Marjorie Jane Bicknell

Marjorie Jane Bicknell, age 84, of Temple died Sunday, August 27, 2006 in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 31, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Alan Struckmeyer officiating. Burial will be private. Mrs. Bicknell was born November 4, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Reba Warren Wedel. She had been a resident of Temple since 1983. She worked as a registered nurse at V. A. hospitals in Kerrville and Waco. She retired in the mid '70's. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie N. Bicknell and one son, Michael Bicknell. Survivors include one son, Joe A. Bicknell and wife, Marilyn of Boerne and two daughters, Sueanne Bicknell of Turkey and Kathryn Poth and husband, Chris of Austin. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Shelley Farash and husband, Minan of Atlanta, GA, Jason Adamik of Austin, Megen and Amanda Bicknell of West Palm Beach, FL, Carly and Zachary Bicknell of Boerne and Matthew Poth of Austin.
