Marsha Cook, age 74, of Academy passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at a local hospital. She was born on January 6, 1943 in Waco, Texas the daughter of JW and Hazel Windham. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504. Visitation will follow from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Marsha enjoyed cooking, reading, and really enjoyed time outdoors planting her spring flowers. She had a tremendous love for animals and her grandchildren and was happiest when she was able to see them participate in their various athletics. She is survived by her children Jennifer (Brett) Edds of Temple and Jeff (Virginia) Cook of Academy, grandchildren; Tucker Pool of Temple, Jackson Cook of Academy, Garrett Pool of Temple, and Colton Cook of Academy. She is also survived by her sister Kimberly Eddins. In lieu of flowers memorial in Marsha’s name to your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
