Martha Schulze, age 75, of Temple died Thursday, June 11, 2009 in a local hospital. Services and burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Schulze was born August 13, 1933 in Johnson City to Reverdy and Estella (Klaener) Gliddon. She was reared and educated in Johnson City and graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor of fine arts degree. She taught schools in the United States and Europe for over 20 years. She married Howard D. Schulze on May 27, 1956 in Johnson City. They have been residents of Temple since 1986. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Todd M. Schulze. Survivors include her husband, Howard D. Schulze of Temple, one son, Christopher B. Schulze of Houston and a sister, Roselyn Bustin of Austin.
