Funeral services for Mary Juanita Gillespie, 99, of Temple will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Gillespie died Thursday at her residence. Mrs. Gillespie was born October 8, 1910 in Denver, Colorado to John Franklin Mansfield and Mary Johnson Mansfield. She married Charles Bryan Gillespie who preceded her in death in 1988. She lived in Oklahoma City for over 50 years and worked as an Executive Secretary for an Advertising Agency. She moved to Temple in 1994. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple. She was also preceded in death by two sons Charles Mansfield Gillespie and Bryan Gillespie. Survivors include one daughter Barbara Burton of Temple; two brothers George Mansfield and Martin Mansfield both of Denver, Colorado, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Gillespie will be available for viewing on Saturday.
