Mary Louise Hutka

Graveside services for Mary L. Hutka, 87, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday June 7, 2014 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Don Lynn officiating. Mrs. Hutka died Wednesday in a Temple Nursing Center. Mrs. Hutka was born March 15, 1927 in San Antonio to Bill Halfaker and Ruby Lee Hodge Halfaker. She married Ray B. Bridges. He preceded her in death August 3, 1988. She married Henry B. Hutka in 1993. He preceded her in death July, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, and a member of Benevolent Patriotic Order of Does at Temple Elks Lodge #139. Mrs. Hutka was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Danny Bridges, twin brother Bill Halfaker and a sister Margie McGhee. Survivors include her daughter Donna Moore of Temple and a son Ken Bridges of Temple, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Memorials may be made to Elks Foundation or to First Christian Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
