Mary Lorene Stanford

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple, TX.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 10:00am at the funeral home followed by a burial at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Mary worked for many years for Scott and White in Temple and after retirement became an antiques dealer.

She is survived by her daughters, Kandy Love and husband Ricky of Temple and Linda Moore and husband Joe of Temple, grandchildren, Stephen Green and wife Collette of Wills Point, TX, Melissa Shamblin and husband Jason of Winston, OR, Madison Doss and husband Joel of Bulverde, TX, and Brooks Moore and wife Caley of Temple, TX, great-grandchildren, Naomi, Alexa, Alicia, Paige, Jordan, Logan, Anthony, Savannah, Ava, Annabelle, David, and Gideon, and great-great-grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher, Olive, and Leena. She is also survived by 2 sisters LaNell Mersiovsky and husband Orlando of Troy, TX and Dorothy Stephens of Morgan, TX.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Walter Stanford, an infant daughter Donna Lynn Stanford, parents James H. and Lorene Davis, a sister Doris Lowery and a brother James H. Davis, Jr.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Mary’s name to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
