Matthew Taylor Marshall

Our beloved son and brother, Matthew Taylor Marshall, 24, went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 3. Matthew was born to Gordon and Kathy Marshall on September 13, 1987 in Houston, Texas. A Memorial Service will be at Temple Bible Church, Temple, Texas at 11:00 am on Monday, February 6 with Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Visitation and reception will follow the Memorial Service at Temple Bible Church. A private burial, also Monday, will be at Greathouse Cemetery. Matthew's smile could warm any heart and brought so much love and joy into our lives. He taught us how to be strong, giving and selfless. He taught us every day what a gift life is and how to wake up each morning thankful. Although his time here on earth was short, we are comforted knowing he is healthy and now in the arms of our Lord and Savior. We miss him dearly, but we look forward to spending an eternity in Heaven with him someday. Matthew's spirit will live on in our hearts with so many fond memories. His smile impacted everyone who came to know him. Matthew has a loving sister Jennifer and her husband Blake Pitts and a niece, Kinley Pitts; a brother Derek Marshall and his fiancée Madeline Elrod. Grandparents are Ellis and Jean Marshall of Temple and Raymond and Mary Taylor of Rogers, along with several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew's life was shared with many loving caretakers who loved him dearly. These precious ladies were a part of his family.
