

Funeral services for Micah Lee Kohutek, 36, of Georgetown will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Ocker Brethren Church with Mark Sebek officiating. Burial will be in Ocker Cemetery. Mr. Kohutek died Tuesday in a Temple hospital. Mr. Kohutek was born in Alice, August 13, 1980. He served in the Air National Guard. He attended Texas A & M University, Boise State and the University of Utah. He worked in the Physics Lab at the University of Utah. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving hunting, camping and the beautiful mountains of Utah and Idaho. He moved to Georgetown, from Utah, five years ago. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Georgetown. Survivors include his mother Diane Dossett and her husband Mark of Georgetown; his father Gordon Kohutek and wife Lili of Georgetown; two sisters Kresta Franklin and her husband John of Houston and Sara Kohutek of Austin; his grandmother Adeline Kohutek of Cameron; one nephew John Franklin of Houston, one niece Grace Franklin of Houston and a longtime friend, Tiffany. The family would like to thank Dr. Laurel Kilpatrick of Palative Care of Scott and White Hospital and Dr. Autumn Stratton of Scott and White Hospice.Pallbearers will be Brian Anderson, lifelong friend, Marcus Psencik, beloved cousin, Jared Psencik, beloved cousin, Davin Psencik, beloved cousin, Ronson Pechal, beloved cousin, Brandon Pechal, beloved cousin, Danny Kohutek, beloved cousin and Jordan Psencik, beloved cousin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Micah Kohutek Leagacy Fund and a donation will be made to the University of Utah Physics Dept. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
