Mikel Aaron Windham

Mikel Aaron Windham, 59, of North Zulch, TX died Thursday April 22, 2010 in a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday April 26, 2010 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Rev. Roy Parker officiating. Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Mr. Windham was born June 5, 1950 in Madisonville, Texas to Louis Aaron and Pauline May Windham. He was a graduate of North Zulch High School and attended Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8233 in Madisonville. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Windham of Navasota; two daughters, Candi Windham Petersma of Austin and Mikala Windham of Houston; two sisters, Margaret Wilson of North Zulch and DeMerle Giordano of Duncanville; two brothers, Chris Windham of North Zulch and Travis Windham of Dallas; two grandchildren.
