Mrs. Sumrall died Thursday at Windchime Assisted Living in Kingsland.
Mrs. Sumrall was born July 8, 1930 in Van, Texas to Sanford B. Starnes and Mary Henry Starnes. She graduated from High School in Stephenville. She lived in Temple before moving to Kingsland 3 years ago. She married Clarence T. Sumrall Feb. 14, 1972. He preceded her in death in 1998. She worked in Auditing and Payroll for Sears in downtown Temple and was a member of Heidenheimer Church of Christ.
Mrs. Sumrall was also preceded in death by her parents and one great grandchild.
Survivors include her daughter Tana Saunders and her husband Joe of Kingsland; her son Mickey Davis and his wife Jerry Nell of Temple; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
