She married Lee Calvert on her birthday, August 29, 1946. She graduated from beauty school in 1963. She had been a resident in the Temple/Moody area since 1976. She owned and operated her own beauty and wig salons in Ohio and Florida. She worked at various other occupations and retired in 1981 due to health problems. Cathy was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Temple where she served as missionary president and council member. She loved working with the senior adult ministry and started a nursing home ministry. Cathy loved to visit the shut-ins of the church. She often put the needs of others before her own, and her family was of utmost importance to her. Her love of God and people was evident in her daily life. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Hamilton, and her grandson, Fredrick Munger II. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Lee Calvert of Moody, daughters, Nora Munger and husband Fred, of Temple, Greta Calvert of Moody, Vicki Ratliff of Moody, Sherri Vann, and husband Billy, of Moody, and one son, Terry Calvert and wife Darla, of Alma, Arkansas. She is also survived by her sister, Sarah Mainville of Moody. She was proud of her 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. One Christmas, she stood looking around the room at all of the children and stated, "I started this mess!" and giggled as she always did. She will be remembered by all of the lives she touched, and we look forward to reuniting with her in heaven one day. Pallbearers are Terry Calvert, David Calvert, Billy Vann, Roland Hernandez, Rolando Hernandez and Cory Altenberg
