Norvella June Stewart

Memorial services for Norvella June Stewart, 76, of Little River Academy will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Holland with Rev. Philip Schuler and Rev. Judy Gotcher officiating. Mrs. Stewart died Tuesday in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Stewart was born June 30, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska to Edward R. Robbins and Laura B. Lee Robbins. She married Walter A. Stewart, Jr. in 1966. She graduated from Beauty College in Houston and worked as a Beautician. She lived in Pasadena before moving to the Wilson Valley and Little River Academy area 23 years ago. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Holland. She was preceded in death by a daughter Dianna Sue Sanchez and one grandson Michael Allen Mays. Survivors include her husband Walter A. Stewart, Jr. of Little River Academy; two sons Buddy Johnson of Pasadena and Danny Johnson of Conroe; three daughters Wanda Lee Smith of Delaware, Pamela Gail Cuellar of Crosby and Junelle Petersen of Friendswood; two brothers Johnny Robbins of Walburg and Ed Robbins of Tomball; sixteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Holland or to Michael Mays Cancer Foundation 310 Binnacle Way Crosby, Texas 77532 Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
