I am so grateful to have known my mother-in-law, Patricia. She was one of the most unpretentious and down-to- earth humans that I have had the pleasure to know. She lived each day with grace and charity, sprinkled with her unique sense of humor. Her generous heart and beauty remain her legacy and are embodied by her children.

Pat was a dear neighbor who immediately welcomed us to the neighborhood 47 years ago with a loaf of her warm homemade bread. When I asked about her recipe, she came back several days later with the started and recipe and I have been making it all these years.  She could be seen walking to a neighbor's house with some kind of goodies to brighten their day. She was a wonderful neighbor and will be missed.

Trey & Ann,   You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow .  Although we have not stayed in touch, you must know how much your Mom and Dad have been a big part of my life.  Pat was such a generous woman.  I often ate all of the cinnamon rolls she sent home for our family before I got home!  Though I did share many of them with Merrill and the kids.   Many times when we visited at the office I would mention something I was looking for and lo and behold she brought it to me the next day.   I remember the GRUB CLUB!!  I remember Football Fridays when so many of Binks and Pat's  friends gathered at the office to go to out of town games, Chtistmas parties.  Most of all I remember what good friends  you were both to us.   Merril, Barbara and Family

Trey and Anne: Harry and I are so sorry for your loss. We loved Pat so much and enjoyed her working with us on Estate Sales. We have missed her presence the last few years. She was such a joy to work with and we always had such a good time. We have thought about her so many times and remembered how thoughtful she was spoiling us with her signature chicken salad, and pimento cheese sandwiches. And, of course, she would always bring Harry her very popular Chocolate Chess pie! And, it was for Harry and not us......Ha Ha!!!! We couldn’t wait for the day to end so I could have a slice!! She was a wonderful and lovely lady and we are going to miss her very much! God Bless!!

     Your mom was a very special woman.  I remember as a kid when we lived down the street from you, and your mom always making the best food.  She was also incredibly nice to everyone.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Pat was a familiar, friendly face that I saw often in my many years as an usher for the Temple First United Methodist Church.  She and Binks were a mainstay at the church and great company and help at church events. She and Binks are missed very much, they were very special people. 

I have trouble thinking of a world without Pat.  Her warmth and generosity made everything seem better. Although we left Temple nearly 4 years ago, when I thought of our years there, I often had Pat in those thoughts. My comfort is that now she can be with Binks once more.
