Services for Patricia Ann Ford Young, age 68 of Gatesville, formerly of Temple, will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Holland Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Lott officiating.

Mrs. Young died March 16, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Young was born on August 31, 1955 in Bartlett, Texas to Nayeola Ford and Eddie Lee Bookman. She attended public schools in Bartlett, Holland and Temple, Texas. She worked at several military installations both in the United States and Europe.

Patricia spent her time speaking of the many beautiful grandkids she has and spending time with her special pet and friend Jasper.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Michelle Bookman Williams and one great grandchild, Gamareahn A. Dixon.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Dwain C. Burton, Jr (Lenova) of Copperas Cove, Tex, Damien C. Burton (Stacey) of Syracuse, Utah and Daryan C. Burton (Jessie) of Cedaredge, Colo.; one daughter, Tomeka Pickett of Prattville, Alab.; one brother, Eddie D. Bookman, Sr. (Debra) of Jonesboro, Tex.; three half-brothers, Quincy Gibson-Winn (Milbray) of Dallas, Tex., LaShuan Lloyd (Christina) of San Jose, Cali., and Jerome Jones (Esther) of Fort Worth, Tex.; 23 grandkids, 24 great grandkids, her special pet and friend, Jasper and a host of friends and relatives.
