Patsy Nell Daniel Beasley

Patsy Nell Daniel Beasley, 90, of Temple, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Mattson officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m., one hour prior to the service. A private burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Patsy was born on June 8, 1935, at Kings Daughters Hospital in Temple, Texas, to Homer DuBose Daniel and Bernice Isabel (Prater) Daniel. She grew up in Temple and graduated from Temple High School in 1953. She continued her education at Temple College and later attended Baylor University.

While working at Johnson's Men Store during her college years, Patsy met the love of her life, Wayne Allen Beasley. The couple married on March 31, 1956, and shared many devoted years together.

Following college, Patsy began her professional career as personal secretary to W. Guy Draper, President and Chairman of the Board of First National Bank of Temple. She faithfully served in that role until the mid-1980s, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues throughout her career.

In her later years, Patsy especially enjoyed farming alongside Wayne and cherished the simple joys of country life. She was a lifelong member of Memorial Baptist Church, where she faithfully served for many years teaching children in the Primary Department. Her dedication to her church and the spiritual growth of young people left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Patsy will be remembered for her faith, kindness, devotion to family, and unwavering commitment to her community and church. Her gentle spirit and servant's heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
