Paul Raby

Paul Raby, age 84, of Temple, TX passed away peacefully at Cornerstone Garden on Friday, April 20, 2012. He was born on November 26, 1927 in Lone Mountain, TN to the late Tilmon and Lola Raby. Paul served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed with the Ford Motor Company for 30 years retiring in 1982. Paul was also a member of UAW Local 1216 serving as president of the union for approximately 13 years. Paul and his wife were married for 64 years. Paul enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Huppe, his parents, six brothers and one sister. Paul is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters Mary Moser and husband David of Bellevue, OH and Linda Moser of Castalia, OH; sons, Steve Raby and wife Margit of Belton, TX and David Raby of Clyde, OH; eleven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Raby and wife Tonya of Sharps Chapel, TN and James Raby of Knoxville, TN; and a sister, Nettie Bettsell and husband James of Jonesboro, GA.
