PEGGY ROGERS DIAZ Funeral services for Peggy Rogers Diaz, 47, of Gonzales, La. will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church in Temple, Tx. with Rev. Pat Dietrich officiating. Burial will be in Moffat Cemetery. Mrs. Diaz died Thursday Oct. 9, 2008 in a Louisiana hospital. Mrs. Diaz was born in Temple to Louis and Selma Schmidt Zuehlke. She graduated from Moody High School in 1980 and received a BBA in accounting from Sam Houston State University in 1984. She was the comptroller for Imperial Sugar Company in Sugar Land from 1990 to 2001, comptroller for PKF, PC of Texas in Houston and at the time of her death was comptroller for Veolia E.S. Industries, Inc. of Baton Rogue, La. While in Houston she worked on the Greater Board of Houston. Her hobbies included archery, golf and astronomy. Survivors include her husband Kenneth Diaz of Gonzales. La; sons Jeffery Rogers of Gonzales, La. Chance Diaz and his wife Melissa of Houston, Kenny Diaz and his wife Brandi of Houston and Beau Diza and his wife Danielle of California; daughters Jamie Rogers of Gatesville; brothers Robert Zuehlke and his wife, Betty of Austin, Harvey Zuehlke and wife Frances, Melvin Joe Zuehlke and his wife Diane and Roy Zuehlke and his wife Joy all of Moody and Marvin Zuehlke and his wife Terri of Virginia and sister Kathryn Warren and her husband Dan of Garland. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
