
Ralph Dandrea Ralph Dandrea, 99 of Temple died Thursday May 7, 2009 in a Temple hospital. A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 PM Sunday May 10, 2009 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Mr. Dandrea was born February 5, 1910 the son of Domonico and Maria D'Andrea in Coalton, West Virginia. He and his family moved to Boonton, New Jersey where he met and married Mary Abato September 22, 1940. She preceded him in death February 11, 2007. After the Andrea's married they moved to Morristown, New Jersey where Ralph worked at the Whippany Paper Mill in the boiler room as a Black Seal Fireman until his retirement. He also worked on weekends as a caddy at different golf courses. After living in Morristown for fifty years he moved to Temple in 2007. Mr. Dandrea is survived by his daughter JoAnn Ong of Temple as well as two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association of the charity of the donor's choice. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple is in charge of arrangements.
